Do you have *Untapped Traffic* waiting!…

“Are You Ready To Claim Your Share Of *Endless* Untapped Traffic & Instantly Profitable Domain Names?!”(No, this is not about expired domain names!…)

Hi

Have you heard the stories of everyday individuals making tons-of-cash by buying and selling domain names?

It’s exciting stuff!

There’s actually an entire underground industry that revolves around people making millions-of-dollars through buying and selling domain names.

They call themselves “domainers”, and they make a good chunk of their moola from what is referred to as “type in” traffic. That’s when you enter a domain name directly into your Internet address bar and click GO rather than using the search engines.

“No one knows for sure how much Web traffic comes from type-ins, and Google and Yahoo execs won’t discuss it. But privately, during one of the late-night parties at the Traffic conference, one Yahoo official estimates that type-ins could make up 15 percent of its search business!” -money.cnn.com

This means that with a hot keyword-based domain name, not ONLY can you rank more highly in the search engines (since your domain name is a critical piece of criteria looked at by search engines). It also means that you can get DIRECT traffic by people typing your domain into their browsers!

After researching this industry, and getting extremely excited by the endless possibilities, the proverbial light bulb went off for my friend Bryan Winters, leading him to create a slick new software program that enables ANYBODY (with access) to come up with profitable domain names within minutes…

He calls his software the “Untapped Traffic Generator!”

It’s very simple software, but the result is extremely powerful. It enables you to type in a keyword or keyword phrase such as (real estate), and it then lists all available .com domain names closely related to the keyword you enter. Cool, ey?!

Let me give you an example… Bryan recently logged in to the private Untapped Traffic Generator search form to find a hot domain name, entered the keyword “video games”, and one of the listings returned was for the keyword phrase and available domain name:

“video game editor” / videogameeditor.com AVAILABLE!

This phrase was searched 21,421 times last month according to Overture’s Search Term Suggestion Tool (now called the Yahoo Keyword Selector Tool). And that’s just on their network! Also, the exact phrase “video game editor” in quotes is listed over 19,000 times on Google!

That phrase took about 15 minutes to find. Now, one of Bryan’s newsletter subscribers already grabbed that domain name up (do a whois lookup and you’ll see it was JUST registered on the 17th) - since Bryan offered it up-for-grabs as a fr’ee gift. But the point here is that the Untapped Traffic Generator software does *exactly* what Bryan claims it does, and there are many thousands more domains waiting to be discovered by YOU!

So what would YOU do with the domain names you find?

1. You could sell the domain outright, on eBay or elsewhere, citing how many monthly searches were done on the keyword it contains (a powerful selling incentive)!

or…

2. You could set up a content/adsense web-site based on the domain keyword. Google places a much higher relevancy on domains which contain the main keyword of the featured site. In his FIRST test using this tool, Bryan was able to get a top 3 Google placement on a keyword that was searched on over 5,000 times the prior month! (The number of times *you* couldREPEAT this process is almost endless!)

or…

3. You could COMBINE the two above… Register a hot keyword domain name, create a site based on the keyword, and sell the site along with domain name as a complete package!

So how do you get your hands on this software?

Well, it’s not for sale directly (not yet anyhow).

But the good news is that for a limited time, Bryan is offering it as a BONUS to those who sign up for IGR at:

http://www.infogoround.com/cgi-bin/click.cgi?id=tmcullin

This is easily a $197 value! Bryan paid $400 to have the software developed, and he obviously also maintains the server from which it runs. This may be your only chance to grab the software for NO COST as a bonus when you join IGR!…

http://www.infogoround.com/cgi-bin/click.cgi?id=tmcullin

Here For Your Success,Tom Cullinan

FREE email course ==> http://tinyurl.com/yhh6hq

P.S. This IS a limited time offer as Bryan doesn’t want the software to become saturated. So this is strictly first come, first serve.

Once again, here’s the link to join - this one’s too good to pass up if you ask me!…

http://www.infogoround.com/cgi-bin/click.cgi?id=tmcullin

P.P.S. To claim your bonus after joining IGR, please send a copy of your receipt to to their support email address following your order, and they will send you the private access link, along with a 1 page tutorial (the software is *extremely* easy to use).

Excellent New Website Templates But Hurry They Are Time Sensitive

Filed under: Web Site Design — surefire @ 12:00 am

In order to make money on the internet you need good websites.  This new system provides you with 50 Website templates per month that are expertly designed and bursting with great content which the search engines love.

I am really excited about this time sensitive information on Website templates and wanted to pass it on. Many of us have heard about making money on the internet by creating websites and then allowing Google to put ads on your page, therefore giving you the chance to earn income from your site. But what paralyzes people is the aspect of HOW DO I MAKE A WEBSITE THAT WILL MAKE ME MONEY? Well this is where templates come in. A template separates form from content freeing you to write with your virtual pen. It is like an employment application-just fill in the blanks. But I don’t want to get ahead of the story. The internet, as we all know, is here to stay. It is how we stay in touch, be it business or communication or just for fun. Now the internets property, or “virtual real estate,” is becoming a very hot commodity. No, it isn’t hotels or houses, its websites and these websites can produce income for their owners. But a sub-standard website just like a sub-standard house will not yield income to the owners in the rate that a first class website will. If you build a first class website it will bring you a healthy flow of long-term passive income. But how do you build a website that will produce income? You need a few key ingredients to produce a winning site. To start you need excellent content, imaginative design and a hosting company with 24/7 support. You must build your website on a solid foundation in order for it to be successful. You could successfully send traffic to it but if you have poor content or a bad design your visitors will catch on very quickly and leave, probably never to return. And if you haven’t properly monetized (interneteze for making money) your site you are leaving money behind. Okay, you have most likely read a lot of eBooks, bought some tutorials, or tried some software and you still aren’t getting anywhere. Well, it takes skills to set up a website. You have to know how to optimize your website for Google’s Adsense Ads and other revenue sources. But that takes a lot of time and study. Finally, there is a system that I used that does all the hard work for you. This new website template system gives you 50 new and different “niche” templates every month. And every month there are different “niche” markets, not just remakes of the month before. A “niche” is a market within a market. Let’s say Motorcycles. Well in that market there are sub markets like helmets or insurance or clubs or jackets. If you pick one of those sub markets to build a website around, you are in a “niche” market within the broader market of motorcycles. Along with the templates you get 250 Private Label Right articles for each “niche” website. They will provide you with unique content for your website which the search engines love. Each “niche” market templates id already set up for Google Adsense Ads so this really is a press the button way to build your virtual real estate on the internet. The best thing about these templates is that they are easy to use for people on all levels of internet marketing. I cannot stress how easy this system is to use. If you truly want to build a virtual real estate empire on the internet this is the system to use.

5 Powerful Factors of Successful E-Commerce Web Design

Filed under: Web Site Design — surefire @ 12:00 am

Does your site design have what it takes to lure more buying customers? Know the 5 most critical web design factors in making your e-commerce site a sensation.

As much as the saying “content is king” rings true, form and function needs to be balanced in order to create an effective web site. This balance is even more critical when it comes to creating an effective e-commerce web site for your business. Based on a survey of U.S. online shoppers done by interactive marketing solutions firm Questus (http://questus.com), web design plays a key role in determining whether or not they decide to shop on your online store. Listed below are five main web design factors that can make or break your online selling efforts:
1) Visual designVisual design encompasses the arrangement of content, as well as the use and consistency of colors and images in your web site. Colors and images can be used to emphasize your company’s online image, giving customers the impression that your company is professional, reliable and trustworthy. Arranging the images and information in a clean and consistent fashion throughout your web pages can very well improve the odds of converting your web site visitors into online customers. Therefore, use components such as Flash animations, sound clips, and other bandwidth-consuming forms of multimedia ever so sparingly. If using these fancy components do not add to improved web site usability or improved understanding of your product, then please, avoid using them at all cost.
2) Site navigationMake sure that your product navigation links are the first thing your online users can focus on when they visit your site. Site navigation needs to be obvious and user-friendly, that is, requiring less clicks and links to follow in order for your customers to locate products or other information. Other than that, online users feel that it is hard to find the information they need when there are too many links in your site navigation. If you feel that you require more than seven links in your site navigation, consider grouping the links into different navigation groups. This will help un-clutter your navigation sections, thus creating “zones” to help your customers focus better when they browse your site. For instance, links pointing to your company information, contact page, press releases and site map can be grouped together, while product categories can be in an entirely different navigation group from your promotions and special offer links.
3) Check-out processThe check-out process starts as soon as your customer selects a product into his or her shopping cart and selects the “Check Out Now” or “Buy Now”. Your customer then needs to review the order, enter shipping and billing addresses, provide payment information, and confirm the sale. Experts recommend that you make these tasks into simple steps of three or less. Even the placement of the Check Out/Buy Now button should be conveniently placed in each product page. In addition, you may include user registration to allow quicker check-outs for customers who frequently purchases from your e-commerce site so that they do not have to re-enter their details. However, do not make a habit of making registration compulsory to all buyers, since one in every five online shoppers prefer not to register and give out too much personal information.
4) Product descriptionProduct description has to do with more than just pasting on a snapshot of your product and adding a few lines of words on it. It also has to do with helping your customer understand your product to the point where your customer can visualize the dimensions or usefulness of your product, even “taste” it. You can use your product description as a place for your online customer to experience your product enough to want to buy it. One of the drawbacks to shopping online is that we are unable to use all our five senses, and have to rely on only our sense of sight and sound. Hence, this section is one place in your e-commerce web site where multimedia can play a big role in enhancing your online customer’s experience. Instead of just putting up the product specifications such as size, weight and color, some media-enhancing examples would be by providing:- A large-scale image of your painting or hand-painted item (photographer, painter)- 3-D view of a sculpture or doll (artist, toy maker)- Color tweaking abilities whereby your product changes color based on your customer’s selection (t-shirt retailer, textile manufacturer)- Product samples and user comments or testimonials (record store, book seller, infotailers)
5) Online catalogThough closely tied in with the check-out process and product description, the online catalog factor has more to do with the ease to search and browse for products. A well-designed online catalog should not only contain helpful product description, but also have a product search engine and organized product groupings. This allows your customer to locate your product quickly, and gives your online customer a sense of control over what he or she is trying to look for. Step it up a notch by providing features such as:- Flexible search on product specification, like brand or color- Recommending similar product that suits your customer’s current product of choice, such as a tie that would match the shirt selected- Product specification comparison, which is especially useful for electronics and travel packages
Keep in mind that your e-commerce site design must support your value proposition and objectives, but most importantly your customer’s needs. Based on the web design factors above and by understanding your customers, you can design your e-commerce web site so that your customers will have a pleasurable and hassle-free visit to your online store.

The Value Of Time

Filed under: Uncategorized — surefire @ 12:00 am

If someone spent 4 hours saving $20…. how much did the actually save?I’m not sure about you, but I value my time very highly. It’s the only thing in the world that I don’t get more of.

I’m not sure when you are reading this, but I’m writing it the day after Thanksgiving. I saw a lot of stuff happen this weekend that made me think about the value of time.
If you are living in the US, the day after Thanksgiving is called “black Friday” because all the stores have huge sales to get them back into the black.
Now, Friday afternoon I was playing w/ my twin boys, but when my family got back from shopping, I heard stories about saving $20-$30 on some stuff… but having to wait in line for 2-3 hours to buy the product.
That doesn’t even count the time it takes to drive to the store, find parking and then fight your way through all the people.
This made me think…
If someone spent 4 hours saving $20…. how much did the actually save?
I’m not sure about you, but I value my time very highly. It’s the only thing in the world that I don’t get more of.
So, what do you value your time at? If you are working for a job, getting paid $8 an hour… then your time is valued at $8 an hour.
So, if you were shopping this weekend, and you spent 4 hours - it cost you $32 (if you are charging $8 an hour). If you value your time at higher - then it could have cost you a fortune.
Well, I personally value my time around $1k an hour. The reason…? If I spend a focused hour on a project, it will always turn into at least $1k (usually more).
So, when people call and want me to consult them on a project, I charge between $600 - $1,000 an hour depending on the client and the situation.
That is why I believe so strongly in outsourcing - because it’s usually a lot cheaper to hire someone to do a task - then to personally do it myself.
Last weekend we paid 2 people $650 to clean up my yard for the winter. It took them 7 hours each to get the job done.
So, If I would have done the work myself, it would have cost me $14,000 to do it (7 hours X 2 people X $1k an hour).
In that case - $650 is a no brainier.
Now, with that said… I want to show you some ways to free up some more personal time for yourself to get done the stuff that YOU have to get done.
1st - learn to cluster your time. One of the things that kills the productivity of online business owners is instant communication.
People want to answer their emails or phone calls the second they come in. I can tell you from experience that this will kill your productivity.
Every time you start into a project, you are interrupted by email, phone calls, instant messages….
Learn to cluster your time - take 60 minutes at the end of your work day when you are less productive… and then (and only then) answer your emails - and make phone calls back.
You need large clusters of time that you can focus 100% on a project so you can get more done faster.
2nd - Kill your email addresses. Have you ever tried to email me? If so you’ve probably got a response saying that you have to submit a ticket to my help desk.
The reason?
First - so I can cluster my time
Second - because I’ve outsourced my customer support
I think email is the biggest killer of productivity in the world. I’ve turned off all but one of my email addresses - and if more then 10 people find that one out - then I kill it and start over. Beware of email.
So, what help desk software do I recommend? There are a lot out there - currently we are using www.kayako.com and it’s been great.
3rd - Charge for your time. You should not be giving away your most valuable asset for free. Every second that I am spending with a client, I am not able to spend with my wife or the twins.
We talked earlier about the value of your time… how much is your time worth? As you grow in your niche, people will start trying to get your time for free.
Beware of this - because it will quickly kill your productivity and your business.
Have you ever tried to call me? I’ve set it up where it’s impossible for anyone besides my wife to call me and get through. My assistant tells anyone calling requesting my time to visit www.JVWithRussell.com.
I have my call times clustered, and charge $300 for every 30 minutes that someone wants to talk on the phone.
I use a company called “Ether” (see the pic above) that charges the person and then lets them ring through to my line. www.Ether.com
The service is free to use - they just take a % of what your client is paying you to talk. You can bill people by the minute, hour, per call. It’s awesome way to make sure you are charging for your time.
4th - Replace yourself. Your goal as an entrepreneur isn’t to work forever - it’s to create a business that will generate the money you need to live the life you want.
So, from day #1, you need to be thinking about HOW to replace yourself.
The first thing you need to replace is your customer support. Do this as fast as you can. Then follow it with website design, writing, link trading, research… anything and everything else you can until your business can run without you.
That should be the end goal of your business. That is the dream that you, me and everyone is looking for online.
Replace your self by either outsourcing the tasks you currently do - or hire employees.
NOTE: When hiring employees - be sure to read “The E-Myth” by Michael Gerber and save yourself a few of the headaches I had before I read his book. You can get it on Amazon for about $12.
I hope that this newsletter has been beneficial. As your business grows, you are going to find yourself with less time every day. If you’re not careful, it will consume you.
What you started so you could have more time - will be taking every last second you have. Remember the value of your time because every second it precious.

How Article Marketing Can Ensure Continuity Of Your Online Home Business Income

Filed under: Web Promotion — surefire @ 12:00 am

I recently experienced some very strange happenings with my website that made me realize how important Article Marketing is to my online home business income.

My online home business website usually enjoys good positions in the search results on the main search engines for the keywords that I have selected and optimized my site for. I keep check on these positions very regularly and one evening I noticed that the main page of my site was not appearing in the search results of Google.  Some of the other pages of my site were appearing for the same keyword search, but lower down the order.
In my Google Webmaster Tools account, under the Index Stats, my main page did not appear in the list, yet the other pages of my site were clearly visible.  If I clicked on the `current cache of your site` link the response was `no information available`.  The `information we have about your site` link gave the save response.  Yet, if I opened my site under the Google Toolbar, my site still scored a PR4.  There was also no notification that I had violated Google’s quality guidelines.  This was a very strange occurrence indeed.
Needless to say this can be very nerve racking as you never know for how long the site is going to be excluded from the search results.  The other major concern is the effect this will have on your online home business income.  Also there really is nothing you can do immediately to fix the problem as you are at the mercy of the search engines.
On checking my stat counter, where I expected to see a downward trend for the period my site was dropped from the search results, I was very surprised to see that there had been very little change.
The reason for this was that I have been regularly writing and publishing articles related to the theme and keywords of my website. While doing searches on Google in the hope of seeing the main page of my website reappear, I came across many of my articles positioned high up in the search results.
For some reason, I believe every now and again sites are dropped from the search results. Why this happens only the search engines can be certain.  Some say this can occur if you make too many changes to your site in a short space of time.  There are lots of explanations under the Help Section in the Google Webmaster Tools, but it appears to be very difficult to find out exactly why your site disappears. On this occasion, I was very fortunate in that my website reappeared in the search results 24 hours later.
This experience made me realize the very important role that article marketing does play in website promotion.  Not only does article marketing build back links to your website, thus ensuring higher positions in the search results, but it also acts as a safety net when your main website is dropped from the search results, as your articles appear for the same keyword searches still giving visitors an option to click through to your website and ultimately ensuring continuity of your online home business income.
A great online home business marketing idea then is to ensure that the articles you write and publish are specific to the theme of your website and incorporate the keywords that you have optimized your site for.
This would also certainly reduce the anxiety one feels when your website goes down due to hosting or server problems.
This is very reassuring and motivates me to regularly write and publish articles based on the theme and keywords of my website, not only to ensure the continued presence of my website in the search results, via my website address in the Author`s Resource Box in the article, but more importantly to ensure continuity and consistency of my online home business income.

Blogging Tips and Tools

Filed under: Blogging — surefire @ 12:00 am

As a business owner, You’ll not want to miss out on the additional revenue you can generate by using blogs to add revenue streams to your business . Displaying Adsense ads, affiliate banners and links, and developing another source of traffic to your core business are just a few of the benefits associated with blogging.

Once you have a large consistent flow of readers, selling advertising space might become a viable option. This will of course depend on your marketing skills and your ability to provide quality and useful content. Setting up a new blog with Wordpress is pretty simple and I’m going to assume you’ve already registered a new domain related to your blog. As well as having a web host that uses cPanel. Using Fantastico to upload and install your new blog is really a no brainer. It will do just about everything for you and gives pretty clear cut instructions to customize the look and feel of your new blog using available Themes and Plug-Ins. I want to add that Wordpress Blogs are free and you can set-up as many as you choose. Each should have its own domain or sub domain. Some things to consider before you begin the blog set up process.
1. What will you name your blog?
2. What will its purpose be?
3. When and how often will I update my blog?
4. How will you use it to enhance your core business?
5. Will it be separate from your business or will it be its own business?
6. How will you announce your new blog to the world?
Many affiliate marketers use blogs as their only method of promotion rather than using conventional websites because of the ease and simplicity to update and add content without having to get into text editors and ftp programs. Their blogs are’ their business. Once your blog is set up and you’ve decided on a name, what your target niche will be, and will it be a stand alone project or an addition to your core business you’ll want to get the word out. Social Bookmarking sites are an effective strategy for bloggers. You can reach a wide variety of bloggers and attract an avid readership to your new blog. I’ve put a small list below as well as an ebook that lists many other SocialBookmarking sites.
1. tagtooga.com
2. del.icio.us
3. furl.net
4. simpy.com
5.blogmarks.net
6. shadows.com
7. spurl.net
8. netvouz.net
9. lightninghotprofits.com/SocialBookmarkRolodex.pdf
10. lightninghotprofits.com/176BlogTraffic.pdf (This contains 176 Blog Directories you can submit your blog to.)
The sites above will hasten your attracting Googles spyders to your new blog and will get you indexed faster than normal. I don’t need to say how important that will be in getting targeted traffic to your blog. But I guess I just did. You will of course want to submit your blog to the Top 10 Search engines. Doing this every 30 days or so will certainly be beneficial to a solid marketing plan. Don’t forget to consider placing some sort of contextual advertising on your main blog page. Whether it be in the form of adsense, yahoo, 7search, etc. These can bring you much needed revenue in the beginning growing over time. Whatever you decide to do with your blog I hope I’ve supplied you with some food for thought as well as some tools for you to get started. The Social Bookmark sites, blog directories and the Top 10 Search engine submissions will almost guarantee attracting readers to your blog and if you supply them with relevant and unique content, word of mouth can most assuredly spread like wildfire. Thank You,Good Luck with your new blog!and Happy Blogging!

How to Use Traffic Exchanges Effectively

Filed under: Web Promotion — surefire @ 12:00 am

This article discusses Traffic Exchanges and how to use free traffic gained from them effectively

Traffic Exchanges: Love them or hate them.  Why would you use them? Well, it is mostly effective if you have a website that you want to rank higher in the Search Engines and a perfect place to get more hits is at a Traffic Exchange. You might also want to use Traffic Exchanges to get customers for your products or recruits for your program. But you will find with Traffic Exchanges that other people are in there trying to put their opportunity in front of you, and you might wonder if there is any point to it, and whether you are just wasting your time. You will probably find that it is the same as with anything in life: You will have those who are successful, and those who don’t make a dime, saying that it obviously doesn’t work.
As with any of your other Marketing Efforts, you need to actually put some effort and time into promoting via traffic exchanges. It is best to use your time wisely and surf several exchanges at once.  This is easily done with the Mozilla FireFox Browser, where you can have several surf pages open at once with tabs at the top.  Plus if you store the surf pages of all your exchanges in one bookmarks folder then you can launch them all at once by selecting “Open in Tabs”.
However, the best way to stay organised with Traffic Exchanges is to store them all in an Excel Spreadsheet. Make six columns with the following Headings:
Exchange Name:  The name of the Traffic Exchange
Referral URL: The URL you would use to refer others
Startpage/login URL: Some Traffic Exchanges let you surf without login in
Username: Your ID or username
Password:  your password to the site
Schedule: List the day you will login and assign credits for each site.
You will make your schedule depending on how many days you have available to do your surfing. I suggest that you do an hour twice a week, and select 10 of the best performing Traffic Exchanges. By making sure your pages are seen 24/7 on just 10 exchanges, your sign up rate will skyrocket. For the latest testing for the top exchanges see the Traffic Hoopla link below.  I would also suggest that you include in your top ten one of these new traffic exchanges, which is part of a network of over 500 exchanges, ranging from 300 to 5000 members each. So you get 500 for the price of one, so to speak, as your website is seen on all of these.
You need to treat your Traffic Exchange surfing as a serious part of your business. Surfing 5 – 10 minutes a day will therefore not be enough. You need to be consistent and surf regularly for about an hour a day for your page to get regular exposure to others. There are two ways to get a lot of exposure on Traffic Exchanges: Surf a lot or purchase credits. You can also upgrade and will triple your efforts doing that as you will get a higher surf ratio and more credits if you refer someone. So the best scenario would be to do all three.
Another good way to get more credits is to make referrals. You can have a splash page, like the one at Traffic Hoopla to advertise for referrals. If a Traffic Exchange gives you a way to communicate with your referrals, use it. You should send your new referral a welcome message, with a way to contact you if they need assistance. You never know, you might make a loyal team member who will follow you in other ventures. Always remember to use your signature file at the end of your message.
So, what else should you promote? The lovely corporate pages of your business might look good on a traffic exchange, and you might want to use traffic exchanges for your corporate website to get more hits and rank higher in the search engines. However, as everyone is there to promote his or her opportunity, you wouldn’t get many sign-ups from that effort. The best thing to do is not to use your corporate website at all, but a cleverly designed splash page used to capture leads, as very few of us are ready to buy something the first time we see an ad. An effective page is a very simple lead gathering page such as a generic recruitment one or a customer prospecting one. You can design the first one to be totally company independent so that when somebody contacts you through it you can discuss what’s best for them in person. They also get directed to your site afterwards to read at their leisure. A Lead Capture Page offers people a valuable free information product, such as an e-book or video in exchange for signing up from your link. To put it simply; that’s the key to effective advertising in the exchanges. You only have around 20-30 seconds to grab someone’s attention so come up with something different; something amusing or topical. Stop wasting your traffic and start using your traffic to build your list.
Many Traffic Exchanges provide features that aren’t being fully utilised by Traffic Exchange Members. These features are there to assist you in your promotional efforts. Features like the way-station, where you can set your pages to show one after the other in succession so that it gets maximum exposure. Or you can have your splash page and your banner linked so that they show simultaneously. You should take advantage of all these features that exchanges provide. They are there to help you gain more exposure to your product of service, and provide you with a way to mentor your downline.
Did you know that Traffic Exchanges are one of the very best ways on the web to exploit the benefits of banner promotion? According to Tim Whiston, a writer and entrepreneur who has been involved with Internet Marketing since 2003, this is true. A well designed banner placed on the surf bar or within the members area can generate loads of very targeted traffic for your site. Text banners are especially effective. If you haven’t been taking advantage of the banner rotation offered by your favourite exchanges, you should do so right away. A strong banner campaign can produce some very favourable results.
It is very important to stand out from the crowd. You can do this by not only using a well designed splash page, but also a customised page that personalise the site for the viewer. For example at TrafficSwarm you can use a splash page specifically designed for and addressing “TrafficSwarm Users.”
You have to keep working at your advertising. Long term success will be yours if you consistently and regularly advertise, because you are keeping your business name in front of people for an extended period of time. Always check what other people are promoting and how they are doing it. Not only can you get ideas for your own advertising, but you can get ideas on website design, headlines and images. Make sure your face or logo is on every banner or splash page you promote. By doing this, people will see the same picture over and over again, and this will stick in their mind. Just like Coke promote themselves by making sure you don’t forget their logo. The longer you do this, the more results you will get. Traffic Exchanges are a long term project, not a short term one. If you stop promoting after a few days and proclaim: “This doesn’t work!” guess what Â…. You’re right!
The importance of tracking your ads when using Traffic Exchanges cannot be overemphasized. I mentioned Traffic Hoopla before, which tests effectiveness, but only you can find what works for you by tracking your own results.
Being a member of a mixture of about 10 well chosen Traffic Exchanges give you free advertising which can be an effective way of advertising and marketing if you work it correctly. Are you going to be part of the Internet Marketing Statistics? Which part are you Â… the 95% who fail, or the 5% who succeed? It is up to you.

Stock Research – Apple Computer rocks world with NEW PHONE

Filed under: Computers — surefire @ 12:00 am

Steve Jobs & Apple Computer rock cellphone world

It is extremely rare in the business world to find a corporation that starts a revolution, and then the very same company leads another revolution. Steve Jobs who runs Apple Computer successfully stood the computer world on its high legs, and then shook its foundation when he created with his associates the very first personal computer. Yes, there were others before him, but they were nothing in comparison to the Apple. The operating system that Apple uses is still acknowledged to be vastly superior to anything that giant Microsoft has ever come out with.
Jobs did make one mistake however, and this mistake cost him his only opportunity to become the richest man in the world. Several decades ago, Apple had the opportunity to license the operating system to other personal computer manufacturers. Jobs made the mistake of believing that it was ABOUT THE HARDWARE. In reality, it was about the software.
Apple never licensed the software, and Microsoft did, which allowed the inferior Microsoft system to become the industry standard, which it still remains today. Gates became the richest man in the world, while Jobs had to settle for selling Apple personal computers with the software embedded into the hardware.
As an aside, the best investment Jobs ever made was probably the 10 million he put up to buy half of Pixar films. Disney passed on that $10 million deal, instead choosing to pay $4 billion plus for the same $10 million dollar investment that Jobs made, only it was several years later.
Jobs’ creation of the iPod revolutionized the music industry, which has experienced no growth for years until Apple came along and sold a 100,000,000 iPods that required music and its associated royalty fees. The music industry should give an award ceremony just for Apple.
Now Steve Jobs and Apple Computer, soon to become Apple Inc. are at it again. This time Jobs and company have created a cell phone device that threatens to create hegemony over the entire cell phone industry. The problem today with sophisticated cell phones is that they are too difficult to operate. The buttons on the blackberry require that you use a stylus to trigger them. Another cell phone, the Treo is not that much better in terms of operational design features.
What Jobs has done for this industry is take it to the next level, and what a level it is. It really shouldn’t be called an iPhone. The phone features of this device are probably the least interesting. I have spoken to two technology mavens that have access to this new device, and their features startled both. This is the equivalent of going from silent films to the talking movie era.
Imagine yourself struggling with the Blackberry small buttons or the Sony Treo? Now along comes the iPhone. There are practically no buttons on the device. It’s got a very large screen, which dominates the front of the device, and it is a touch screen. You operate it by finger alone. It scrolls the various listing almost like a roulette wheel. It slows down, and zeros in on the item you want. As it is slowing down, you have the opportunity to re-engage the scroller. It’s almost as if it has artificial intelligence built into it – that’s how good the user interface is.
This flicking or scrolling feature also applies to iTunes software and your photo collection, address book, videos, and podcasts. With a 3.5 inch screen, movies are far superior to previous Apple products, and there’s real time e-mail delivery similar to a corporate Blackberry but without the extra fees involved.
Now without the small keys that I have on my Blackberry, you have to touch the screen of the Apple to send messages. It is clearly not as precise as the tactile response of a Blackberry, but the software wildly overcomes that deficit. The Apple software has spelling correction software built into it, so if you hit the wrong key the device corrects it.
Browsing the web with this device is a mindblower due to what is called the “Pinch feature”. You can take a Web page that you are looking at, and with your thumb and forefinger pinch the picture wider or narrower, higher or lower. The real beauty here is the simplicity of the entire device.
Most products that are designed by engineers are created with an added level of complexity built into it. It’s like a writer that wants to use words that very few people understand. Why do people design like this? It’s because they want to impress themselves, and others with their brainpower. What is more interesting is how such designs survive to become marketed products.
The American car market self-destructed when for 20 years, the companies were run by financial / accounting types, not people who LOVED CARS. Apple has clearly developed a corporate culture that puts functional design first, and engineers, and software geeks second. From the PC to the iPod, and now the iPhone, we have a history of fabulous, sterling products coming out of this American design factory.
These guys even put the speaker on the bottom front edge of the product . I have a Motorola Razor that when I put down in the car, I can’t hear it when it rings, the speaker is on the back. You will notice that Motorola stock took a hit to the downside this week with the unveiling of the iPhone. Apple’s new product is not cheap. It will sell between $500 and $600 per phone depending upon storage capability. Cingular will be the only carrier at the moment.
So the real question is at this price point how much of the market can the iPhone capture. My firm’s answer is plenty. Apple is looking to ship 10 million phones by the end of 2008. This equals about 1 percent of annual worldwide cell phone sales. We think that the sales goal is easily achievable.
You can buy a Blackberry, Treo, or Razor cell phone for $200 to $300. You still need an iPod if you are into music. The iPod sells for a couple of hundred dollars by itself. At some point Cingular, or other cell phone companies will be kicking in part of the cost in order to get subscribers. That amount is usually up to $100 per phone. We see people standing on line to get this product. Will you be one of them, I will?People pay big bucks for snob appeal and status, and this product qualifies for the ultimate status definition. Status is buying things you don’t need, with money you don’t have, to impress people you don’t know. Stay tune for more.
Goodbye and Good Luck

Your Own At-Home Business – As Easy as PIE

Filed under: Business Opportunities — surefire @ 12:00 am

Learn the “easy as PIE” method to start and grow your at-home business.

For 13½ years I worked with some of the best IT guys in the world. I mean it. These guys were top-notch. No matter what I asked for, no matter what I needed, these guys could make it work – and fast.
Then there was John. John wasn’t just as good as the other guys, he was better. Not better in what he could do by way of programming, but better in that he could see where IT was going in the future and he wanted to be the first to get there. I don’t know where he kept it, but somewhere in that office full of papers, magazines, and programming ideas, John must have had a crystal ball.
Every now and then, though, we knew that the future might be rosy but getting there was trouble, at least for the moment. When things got rough, when programs weren’t running smoothly, or there were hardware problems, John could be heard saying, “Why don’t we just make pies. It can’t be too hard to make pies.
With all due respect to Mrs. Smith and Marie Callender, we would sit quietly for a moment as we envisioned ourselves in chef’s coats and hats with nothing to worry about but getting the right mixture of flour and water and setting the oven at the right temperature. Then reality would hit and back to work we would go.
If you are interested in or in the thick of creating your own at-home business, you know that it is hard. There are probably a lot of terms you don’t know and a lot more you’ve not even heard of, but it’s important to remember the principles of PIE.
Plan
If you are new to working at home, plan how you will add this new career to your existing work, play, and relationships. Plan what hours you will devote and where your home office will be. Plan how to include your family in this venture, even if it is just to make a deal with them that you will work as hard as you can through the week and take weekends off for family activities. Think about how much money you are willing to invest and plan how to make that work.
If you are experienced in working at home, plan your next step. Focus on one thing you want to do to improve your product, your customer or downline support, or website. Plan how you will accomplish that one task. Don’t get caught up in all the latest programs available to you. Concentrate on just one change and plan how you will put that into action.
Investigate
Again, if you are new to working at home, investigate the possibilities that are out there. Do you want to be involved in affiliate marketing or start your own online business? What programs offer guidance to you either in the form of written materials or someone who will be your sponsor who can help you achieve your goals and keep it all in perspective? How much time and money will it really take? Where can you go for help?
If you are experienced in working at home, investigate ways to achieve the task you identified in the planning stage. If you need more traffic, investigate SEO, blogging, ezine articles, and solo ads, just to name a few. If you identified brand identity, investigate the tactics used by successful companies that are familiar to a wide audience. If you identified overwork, investigate getting help through virtual assistants, automated email responders, and your state’s laws on hiring office help.
Whatever you identified as the goal you want to achieve, investigate at least three ways to accomplish that goal.
Emulate
You have heard it said that the best way to be successful is to duplicate success. Find someone who has achieved the goal you are striving for. Ask them questions, follow them around for a while, be annoying. Ok, don’t be annoying, but you know what I mean. Find someone who knows the ropes and learn from them. This does not have to take the form of someone you know personally. There are plenty of men and women who are successful in their at-home business, but you have to get to know them even if you can only do it virtually. Search for their names and their products. Search for the person or product by name and the term “scam” behind it to see if there are forums out there where people are talking about being scammed by these people or the products they are selling.
Look for someone that will walk you through the process, not just take your money. Don’t be fooled by “get rich quick” advertisement. There are some who have made thousands of dollars in a few days, but there are truly only a handful of those. If a person or product is worth investing in, they will be around for a long time and their products and service will get better with age.
You can achieve your dream of working at something you love and working at it on your own terms if you just remember that it really is as easy as PIE – Plan, Investigate, Emulate.
